Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse - Operating Room with 2+ years of OR experience and a background in C-section, circulator/PACU for a short-term acute care hospital assignment.

Responsibilities include 104-bed OR coverage, 4x10 shifts 07:00-17:30, and call obligations. Meditech charting is used; scrubs provided and parking is free. First-time travelers are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN license IN or Compact required.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required; NIHSS preferred.
• Minimum 2 years operating room experience.
• C-section experience and familiarity with orthopedic cases required.
• Circulate and PACU experience required.
• Meditech charting experience required.
• Community hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate in a 104-bed acute care hospital.
• Work 4x10 day shifts, 07:00-17:30, Mon-Fri.
• Call requirements: at least 1 weekend per month and 1 weekday per week.
• Floating to tasks only; not full reassignment.
• Uses Meditech charting system.
• Scrubs are provided by the facility.
• No parking cost for staff.
• First-time travelers will be considered.
• Candidates local within a 50-mile radius considered.
• Former employees must be separated for three years before returning as a traveler.
• Holiday RTO requires working one of the three major holidays.
• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted.

• Operating Room unit within a short-term acute care hospital with 104 staffed beds
• 4x10 day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 07:00-17:30
• Call requirements include a minimum of 1 weekend of call per month and 1 weekday of call per week
• Weekend call runs Friday 16:30 through Monday 06:0O
• Floating required, but only to task rather than to a full assignment
• Uses Meditech charting system
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• No parking cost for staff
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
• Candidates are considered local if residing within a 50-mile radius of the hospital
• Former employees must be separated from the facility for three years before returning as a traveler
• Candidates requesting holiday RTO must be willing to work one of the three major holidays
• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted
