Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN to fill an Operating Room circulator role in outpatient surgery settings. The position requires an active RN license (GA or Compact) and AHA BLS certification, with ACLS preferred and a minimum of two years’ OR experience.

The role features 8-hour day shifts, travel to additional OR locations to obtain hours, and no on-call duties. Holidays required include 2 of the 3 major holidays and one minor holiday; candidates must reside over 50 miles

Qualifications

• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the OR specialty required

Responsibilities

• Outpatient surgery setting within an operating room department
• Circulator role in the OR
• Schedule of 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:45am-3:15pm
• Float coverage to additional OR locations to obtain hours, including rotating late coverage
• No on-call responsibilities
• Serve as circulator in the operating room, supporting surgical procedures
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year\'s Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year\'s Eve)
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break since separation
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested afterward
