Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced RN Circulator for the Operating Room in Oregon. The position requires OR nursing experience, current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications, and an active RN license in the state.

TNCC certification is required; AS in Nursing is mandatory with a BSN preferred. Two years RN experience and prior Circulator or scrub experience are desirable. Benefits include high pay, housing allowance, travel and licensure reimbursements, and non-taxed per diem.

Qualifications

• CNOR and Peri-op 101 certification preferred
• CRASE training if assignment extends beyond 6 months

Responsibilities

• Operate in the Operating Room as Circulator for intraoperative care across patient populations
• Deliver safe, effective perioperative care and act as patient advocate
• Work day shift: 5 shifts/week, 8 hours per shift (0630-1500) with on-call rotation
• Float to other departments as qualified, with agency staff floated before core staff
• Collaborate across disciplines and maintain clinical competencies
• Participate in required education programs for the position
• Supervise assigned personnel during procedures and ensure documentation accuracy

Responsibilities

• Operating Room setting within the Surgery department
• Circulator role covering all patient populations during intraoperative procedures
• Day shift schedule, 5 shifts per week at 8 hours per shift (0630-1500)
• On-call responsibilities on a regular scheduled rotation
• Floating to other departments as qualified, with agency nurses floated before core staff
• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered perioperative care
• Act as patient advocate and direct/supervise assigned personnel during procedures
• Protect patients from injury and surgical site infection while managing specimens and documentation
• Collaborate effectively across disciplines and maintain required clinical competencies
• Participate in required education programs applicable to the position
