Job summary
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Travel RN for an Operating Room position in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The role requires Level 1/2 trauma center experience and daVinci Robot proficiency, with 4x10 hour days and on-call shifts.
13-week assignment with competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. Active RN license (IN or Compact), BLS and ACLS certifications are essential, with a minimum of 2 years OR experience.

- Circulating role managing nursing care within the OR and observing the surgical team to maintain a safe environment.
- Responsible for circulating surgical cases and coordinating all nursing care within the operating room.
- Assists the surgical team in creating and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for patients undergoing surgery.

- Operating Room department within a hospital setting
- Circulating role managing nursing care within the OR and observing the surgical team to maintain a safe environment
- 4x10-hour day shifts Monday through Friday, 0630-1700
- On-call requirements of 1-2 shifts per week from 1700-2300
- Uses Cerner EMR
- 13-week assignment
- Active RN license (IN or Compact)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
- Level 1 or 2 trauma center experience required
- Neuro-spine and cranial surgical experience required
- Pediatric OR and ortho trauma experience preferred
- Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required for consideration
- Valid driver's license with permanent home address matching ID required for consideration
- Responsible for circulating surgical cases and coordinating all nursing care within the operating room
- Assists the surgical team in creating and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for patients undergoing surgery
- Hospital provides scrubs
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be accepted
