Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a SSSU/PACU role with strong perioperative skills. The position supports outpatient services across Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, PACU and Pre-operative Clinic.

The ideal candidate holds WA RN license, 2+ years in SSSU/PACU/Pre/Post, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. The schedule features four 10-hour day shifts with a shared on-call rotation and floating across Outpatient Services.

Qualifications

• Active WA RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years SSSU/PACU/Pre/Post experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Strong perioperative skills in Pre, Post, PACU, Phase II, Endoscopy, and Infusion.

Responsibilities

• Work across Outpatient Services including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, PACU, and Pre-operative Clinic
• Supports conscious sedation for special procedures throughout the hospital
• Schedule consists of 4 10-hour day shifts with a variable schedule
• Shared on-call rotation required for PACU coverage
• Floating required to all areas within Outpatient Services
• Provide perioperative education and nursing care, including assessment for post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Responsible for recognizing and responding to post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
