Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring MT or compact licensure and prior OR circulating/scrub experience. The role is full-time with a 13-week contract and flexible day shifts.

Requirements include active MT or compact RN license, BLS/ACLS, 18+ months RN experience, and a nursing degree. CNOR is preferred; circulating and scrub experience are also preferred.

Qualifications

• Active MT or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA).
• Minimum 18 months RN experience.
• CNOR preferred.
• 1 year OR circulating experience preferred.
• 1 year scrub experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operating Room setting covering circulating and scrub duties.
• Full-time 1.0 FTE position with variable day shift schedule.
• Requires flexibility to cover all shifts including call responsibilities.
• 13-week contract assignment.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to assess patient needs and implement individualized plans of care.
• Participates in ongoing stroke education, including two hours within the first year of hire and one hour annually.
• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances.
• Candidates must reside at least 90 miles from the facility to be considered.
• Works effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment requiring sound judgment and strong teamwork skills.
