Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an RN for the Operating Room with Neuro/Spine experience. Requires 2+ years of current OR practice and Epic proficiency.

This position covers a 24-bed unit in Neuro/Spine, 4x10 day shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with on-call. Travel eligibility excludes local candidates; housing and licensure reimbursements are offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (AL or Compact) required.
• Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required, AHA-issued only.
• Minimum 2+ years of recent OR experience required.
• Recent experience in General Surgery and Orthopedic procedures required.
• Recent Epic EMR experience required.
• DaVinci Robot and Max Face experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Main Operating Room setting within the Surgery department.
• Neuro/Spine surgical patient population with a 24-bed unit capacity.
• 1:1 patient ratios.
• 4x10 day shift schedule, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Call requirements apply.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• Perform surgical nursing duties supporting General Surgery and Orthopedic cases.
• Navy scrub color required.
• Unacceptable attire includes t-shirts, fleece jackets, hoods, and nail polish.
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible.
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position.
