Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an RN - OR in Georgia for a hospital surgery unit. This role requires an active GA RN license and 18 months of OR nursing experience, with Epic EMR experience and strong Ortho/Total Joints/Scopes/Neuro background.

The position offers 5x10-hour AM shifts totaling about 50 hours weekly, with a 30-minute meal break and on-call duties. It is a travel-oriented opportunity with housing support and travel reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Active GA or Compact RN license required in hand.
• Minimum 18 months of OR nursing experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Strong experience with Ortho/Total Joints/Scopes/Neuro procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Surgery unit of a hospital setting
• Scheduled for 5x10-hour AM shifts, 50 hours per week

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Former Emory employees must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not on or near a holiday, or 3 days if on or near a holiday, with only 1 holiday request allowed
