Job summary

Solutions By Sanford is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join its travel staffing program. The RN will provide patient care across a variety of settings, utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with physicians and other professionals to plan, implement and evaluate care.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, has at least one year of experience including travel, and is prepared to work in a 14-week contract with the option to extend or transfer to another Sanford site.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA.
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care.
  • Collaborates with other inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care.
  • Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards.
