Job summary

FirstChoice – Trinity Health's mobile staffing program is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for part-time, night shifts at MercyOne West Des Moines Medical Center in Iowa. RNs float across hospital locations and regions to meet staffing needs with flexible scheduling and diverse practice settings.

Minimum qualifications include RN licensure and nursing degree; 18 months in Med Surg/Tele/PCU and 2 years in higher-acuity specialties; credentials such as ACLS/TNCC/PALS are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure in applicable state(s).
• 18 months of clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• 2 years of clinical experience for Critical Care, Surgical, Maternal, ED and Behavioral Health.
• Credentials per specialty (ACLS, TNCC, PALS); BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Float across hospital locations and regions as needed.
• Assess, identify outcomes, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Act independently within license and scope of knowledge.
• Maintain accountability for decisions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.
• Adapt to new responsibilities and diverse settings.
