Job summary

MercyOne West Des Moines Medical Center in Iowa is seeking experienced RN travelers for Part-time FirstChoice staffing. Night shifts (3x12) with premium pay and flexible scheduling are available across regional locations.

Roles require RN licensure, 18+ months in core specialties and 2+ years in critical areas; credentials such as ACLS/TNCC/PALS must be maintained. DailyPay and license/certification reimbursement are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid RN licensure in the applicable state(s).
• 18+ months of recent clinical experience for Med/Surg, Tele, PCU.
• 2+ years of recent clinical experience for Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal, ED, Behavioral Health.
• Credentials required per specialty (e.g., ACLS, TNCC); BLS, ACLS, and PALS via American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations/regions.
• Assess, identify outcomes, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Act independently within license and scope of knowledge.
• Maintain accountability for delegation, decisions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to support quality and improvement.
• Embrace new ideas and manage competing priorities.
• Support flexible scheduling and premium compensation as part of FirstChoice.
