Job summary

MercyOne DeWitt Medical Center in Iowa is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for FirstChoice, Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution. This part-time, 12-hour night shift role uses RNs across hospital locations to provide flexible, premium-pay assignments.

You will float across units, demonstrate standard nursing processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to support quality and patient outcomes. Travel and per diem opportunities are available within the system.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure in the applicable state(s) of practice.
• Minimum 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience for CC, Surgical, Maternal, ED and Behavioral Health.
• Credentials required per specialty (e.g., ACLS, TNCC). BLS, ACLS and PALS via American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations/regions.
• Assess, identify outcomes, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Act independently within license, scope of knowledge and experience.
• Delegate, decide and own outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support quality and improvement.
