Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is seeking a Neuro ICU RN for a night shift assignment in Tennessee. Candidates must hold an active TN or compact RN license and have recent Epic experience, plus current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Minimum 1 year Med/Surg/Telemetry experience is required.

Responsibilities include working in the Neuro ICU on a night shift (3x12), 1:2 patient ratios, and float to related units as needed. Travel-friendly position with travel perks and housing support.

Qualifications

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year Med/Surg/Telemetry experience required
• Epic experience within the last 18 months required
• Charge experience preferred
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Work in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (18:45-07:15)
• 1:2 patient ratio
• Float required to other ICUs, Med/Surg/Telemetry, and Progressive Care units as needed
• Three weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
• Holiday availability required
• Uses Epic charting system
• Provide critical care nursing to neurological and neurosurgical ICU patients
• Skills may include CVA/stroke management, EVD care, ICP monitoring, hypothermia protocol, post-neurosurgery management, and spinal cord/TBI care
• Experience with ventilator management, arterial lines, central lines, and vasoactive drip titration utilized
• Chemotherapy administration and ECMO/IABP/TAVR experience preferred
• First-time travelers and local candidates accepted at the same rate
• No block scheduling or special schedule requests accommodated
