Candidates must hold an active RN license (NC or Compact) and current certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS, and STABLE, with 1–2 years of high‑risk delivery experience. This travel role requires 12‑hour shifts (7a–7p or 7p–7a), rotating weekends, no on‑call, and a generous housing allowance plus travel reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Experience attending high-risk deliveries and post-resuscitation care required

Responsibilities

• Level II NICU with 4 licensed beds in a small community hospital
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• Attend high-risk deliveries and post-resuscitation care
• Use Paragon EHR system and NICU equipment
• 12-hour shifts 7a-7p or 7p-7a
• Rotating weekend requirement
• No call requirements
• Travel rate eligibility for staff residing 60 miles or more from facility and other travel logistics

Responsibilities

• Level II Special Care Nursery with 4 licensed beds in a small community hospital
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• Common diagnoses include TTN, NAS, hypoglycemia, and preterm conditions
• Equipment used includes GE, Baxter, and Natus
• Uses Paragon EHR system
• 12-hour shifts scheduled 7a-7p or 7p-7a
• Rotating weekend requirement
• No call requirements
• During low census, staff will complete tasks rather than being floated to other units
• Provide NICU/Special Care Nursery care including high-risk delivery attendance and post-resuscitation care
• Collaborative, motivated, and self-sufficient problem solvers are ideal fits
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable; street clothes are not permitted
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Holiday and every-other-weekend coverage required
