American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a Level 1/2 Trauma ICU in a children's hospital, with a rotating day/night schedule and required floating to pediatric units.

The role includes a 36-hour work week with a 30-bed NICU, average census 22-24, and mandatory float to Pediatrics and PICU as needed. Travel and lodging allowances are provided; candidates must meet residency requirements.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in NH or Compact state.
• BLS certification required.
• Recent Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma ICU experience within the last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing to neonatal ICU patients in a children's hospital setting.
• Float to Chad Inpatient Unit, including Pediatrics, Pedi Step Down, and PICU.
• Day/night rotation schedule with a 36-hour work week.
• Conscientiously match float assignments to clinical skill set.
• Care for a 30-bed NICU unit with daily census of 22-24 patients.
• Travelers must reside more than 75 miles from the facility.

Requirements

• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required

Responsibilities

• Intensive Care Nursery within a Children's Hospital offering full pediatric services
• 30-bed unit with an average daily census of 22-24 patients
• Day/night rotation schedule only, 36 hours per week
• Travelers are not required to attend deliveries
• Required to float to the Chad Inpatient Unit, including Pediatrics, Pedi Step Down, and PICU
• Floating assignments are conscientiously matched to clinical skill set
• Provide critical care nursing to neonatal ICU patients within a children's hospital setting
• Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for consideration
• Two professional references from managers required for consideration
