Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an RN for Mother Baby/Post Partum with Labor & Delivery experience and charge experience required for a 13-week assignment on a 7a-7p shift rotation.

This travel position includes a 60+ mile distance requirement from the facility, 7a-7p hours, and no call. Benefits and reimbursements are offered as part of the travel package.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with charge experience required.
• 3 years of RN experience with charge experience preferred.
• Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Peds, and Gyn experience required.
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Womens Services unit including Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Peds, and Gyn.
• Unit includes 3 LDR, 4 Triage, 2 Ante-partum, and 10 Post partum/Gyn/Peds beds.
• Maternal, newborn, adult, geriatric, and peds patient population.
• Patient ratios based on acuity.
• Uses Philips fetal monitors with OB TraceVue and MediTech EHR.
• 7p-7a shift schedule.
• Every 3rd weekend required.
• Floating required.
• Provide nursing care across Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Peds and Gyn specialties.
• Follow HR policy on professional dress code with no scrub color preference.
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate.
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months.
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time.
