The nurse will work 12-hour night shifts (3 days per week, 36 hours weekly) in a hospital setting, caring for mother-baby patients, administering medications, and assisting with discharge planning. Travel-friendly housing and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required; state or multi-state compacts accepted.
• Current BLS certification from AHA.
• NRP certification required; Level 1 experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience; associate degree required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Nursing care for mother-baby patients in a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule: 12-hour shifts, 3 days/week (36 hours weekly).
• Administers medications and monitors IV infusions and blood products.
• Assists physicians with examinations and minor procedures.
• Documents patient responses and notes changes in orders.
• Monitors physiological data and intervenes as needed.
• Educates patients and families on procedures and discharge needs.
• Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate.
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius; no local candidates accepted.
• Credentialing and compliance deadlines strictly enforced; start dates non-negotiable.
• Returning workers must have a 6-month separation before reapplying after a prior 26-week assignment.

• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Level 1 experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Full date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Mother Baby Unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly
• Provides nursing care to mother-baby patients ranging from simple to complex cases
• Administers medications and monitors IV infusions and blood products
• Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of mother-baby patients
• Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and notes changes in physician orders
• Monitors physiological data and intervenes as needed
• Shares care plans and educates patients and families on hospital procedures and discharge needs
• Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
• Credentialing and compliance deadlines are strictly enforced with no flexibility for start date delays
• Returning workers must have a 6-month separation before reapplying after a prior 26-week assignment
