Job description

American Traveler is hiring a Wound Care RN for a day-shift position requiring at least 1 year of wound care experience and Cerner EMR proficiency.

Requirements

• Active RN license (AR or compact) required
• Current BLS certification required
• 1+ years of recent Wound Care RN experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Certified wound care/ostomy nurse credential preferred
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of assignment start

Responsibilities

• Work in the Wound Care unit of a hospital setting
• Responsible for wound and ostomy care for assigned patients
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with flexible 8-hour shift options (7-3, 8-4, or 9-5) as long as patient care needs are met
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Provide direct wound care and ostomy care services to patients
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
