American Traveler is seeking a Wound Care Certified RN for a Wound/HBO unit in Texas. The role requires a TX or compact RN license and wound care certification, with at least one year of relevant experience.

A 13-week assignment is offered, with responsibilities spanning wound care procedures, device management, and inter-disciplinary collaboration. The position may require floating to all hospital units, day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and adherence to facility dress code.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent wound care experience.
• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• Wound care certification required.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration.
• One professional reference required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Wound Care/HBO department.
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• 13-week assignment.
• Uses wound care equipment and supplies (Wound VAC, Dopplers, scissors, forceps, dressings, barriers).
• Meditech EMR used.
• Floating to all hospital units.
• Weekend and on-call work as needed.
• Perform wound debridement and advanced dressing applications.
• Manage wound care devices and treatment plans.
• Collaborate across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Wound Care/HBO department
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week assignment
• Uses equipment such as Wound VAC, ABI Dopplers, surgical scissors and forceps, curettes and scalpels, vascular compression systems, pressure relief mattresses/wedges, hydrogels, hydrocolloids, and antimicrobial/biological barriers
• Meditech EMR used
• Floating required to all units in the hospital
• Weekend and on-call work as needed
• Perform wound debridement and advanced dressing applications
• Manage wound care devices and treatment plans
• Work collaboratively across multiple disciplines
• Royal blue scrub attire required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
