Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment in a Critical Access Hospital setting in Washington. A WA or compact RN license is required; BLS and ACLS are necessary, with at least 1 year of experience and CAH exposure preferred.

The role involves telemetry care in Med/Surg Tele unit, night shifts 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, and every other weekend. Local candidates are welcomed, and first-time travelers are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Active WA license or compact license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Critical Access Hospital experience required.
• Cerner charting experience preferred.
• Community hospital experience preferred.
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring and emergency response.
• Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Experience with IV therapy and phlebotomy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Every other weekend required.
• Floating required as needed within scope.
• Patient ratio of 1:3.
• No call requirements.
• Provide telemetry nursing care within a Med/Surg unit.
• Local candidates accepted.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Previous staff must have been separated for at least 1 year to return as a traveler.
