- Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
- 13-week assignment on night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
- May be required to float to like or lower acuity units across 5 hospitals, excluding the ED
- Requires working 4 weekend shifts within a 4-week cycle and at least one holiday, including the holiday weekend
- Active CA RN license required
- Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of total travel nursing experience required (LVNs excepted)
- At least 6 months of continuous travel experience immediately preceding submission required
- 1.5 years of continuous experience in the specialty required, with matching patient ratios if switching units
- EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months required
- 1 supervisory-level professional reference required at time of consideration
- Certifications must be current with no pending or expired documentation
- Provide medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care within an acute hospital setting
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
- Returning permanent staff or travelers eligible only after 1 year since last assignment
- Maximum RTO of 7 days, with no additional requests after submission
- Candidates must live outside a 100-mile radius of the facility to be eligible, except LVNs/LPNs
- Candidates on assignment in San Diego for 9+ months or more are considered local and ineligible
