Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg Tele position in Ohio. The role requires an OH or compact license and at least 1 year of combined specialty experience, with BLS/ACLS and NIHSS certifications in place before start.

The position is day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM), with Epic EMR experience required and a requirement to work at least every other holiday. Local candidates are welcome and orientation includes a vaccine requirement.

Qualifications

• Active OH RN license or compact license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification required prior to start.
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for required.
• ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment completion during orientation with acceptable scores.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg Tele unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Epic EMR experience required
• Required to work at least every other holiday
• Provide direct patient care to med/surg telemetry patients
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
