Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an RN for an Oncology Clinic/Radiation Therapy position requiring chemotherapy certification and an OK or compact RN license. Day shift, 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts across four days.

Responsibilities include nursing care for oncology patients, medication administration, and collaboration with physicians. BLS, chemotherapy certificate, and at least 1 year of RN and oncology experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC).
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required.
• Minimum of 1 year of chemotherapy experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
• 1 year of Oncology experience preferred.
• Full DOB and SSN required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Radiation Therapy unit of an oncology clinic.
• Provides nursing care to oncology patients with conditions ranging from simple to complex.
• Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients.
• Day shift schedule, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, 40 hours total.
• Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments.
• Assists physicians with examinations, minor diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
• Obtains and monitors physiological data and intervenes as needed.
• Administers medications and initiates, regulates, and monitors IV infusions and blood products.
• Communicates care plans with patients and families, including discharge planning.
• Delegates tasks to support staff and makes referrals as needed.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible.
• Facility strictly enforces credentialing deadlines, with no allowance for start date pushes.
• Returning workers limited to one extension up to 26 weeks total, requiring a 6-month separation before reappearing.
• 30-day written notice required for early cancellation or ending of an assignment.
