Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an outpatient Oncology/Hematology clinic in Virginia. The role requires oncology experience and BLS certification, with an active RN license for Virginia or a compact state. Outpatient experience is preferred.

The position features a day shift (8:00 am–4:30 pm) with no weekends or on-call requirements, and clinics may require rare floating to other sites. Epic/Beacon EMR is used for patient care and documentation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Treat patients in an outpatient oncology/hematology clinic.
• Maintain patient-to-nurse ratio of 1–2 physicians per nurse.

• Work day shift: 8:00 am–4:30 pm, weekdays only.

• Outpatient oncology clinic setting treating hematological malignancies
• Patient ratio of 1-2 physicians per nurse
• Uses Epic/Beacon EMR
• Day shift schedule, 8:00am-4:30pm
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Rare floating to cover other clinics may be required
• Clinic closed on major holidays, open all other weekdays including eves
• Scrub color requirement: Navy Blue
• Clinic closed for major holidays
• Returning permanent employees may reapply 12 months after their last shift worked
