Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced RN for Hospice/Palliative Care in Florida. The ideal candidate has an active FL or compact RN license, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of hospice nursing experience.

A THC drug screening is required and travel benefits apply, including housing and licensure reimbursements. Typical day is 4x10 hours, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with no weekends or on-call. Mileage is reimbursed, and first-time travelers are not accepted for this position.

Qualifications

• Active FL or compact RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of hospice nursing experience required.
• THC drug screening required; medical marijuana cards may be accepted based on state laws of residence and work location.

Responsibilities

• Hospice clinic setting serving a geriatric patient population.
• Caseload of approximately 5-7 patients per day.
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
• No weekend requirements.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Netsmart charting system used.
• Provide direct nursing care to hospice and geriatric patients.
• Mileage reimbursed at $0.58 per mile.
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate.
• No RTO permitted during the first two weeks or during orientation.
• No call-ins permitted.
• Orientation includes 16 hours of virtual training modules completed over two days.
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position.
