American Traveler is hiring an Outpatient Hospice RN for a dual-site coastal assignment requiring an active OR RN license and reliable personal transportation for multi-site travel.

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license required
• Healthcare Provider level BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• BSN and/or previous home health or hospice case management experience preferred
• Broad-based nursing experience preferred to support specialized hospice skills
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto liability/property damage insurance as required by law
• Must use personal automobile in good working condition for work-related travel

Responsibilities

• Outpatient hospice setting serving patients in their homes, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and adult foster homes
• Office based in Albany with coastal travel to multiple points of care required
• Day shift schedule from 0800-1630 with occasional weekends
• 13-week assignment
• Provide intermittent skilled nursing visits, pain and symptom management, and coordination of care for hospice patients
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including medical social services, spiritual support, hospice aides, and bereavement support staff
• 24-hour on-call nursing services are available as part of the program
• Facility strictly enforces all listed requirements, including certifications and experience
