American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool in Oklahoma City. Requires Med/Surg and Step Down experience and ability to float to any hospital unit.

The role features 12-hour days, 3 days per week (36 hours) and involves caring for a range of patients, with assignments that may move to different units.

Candidates must hold an active OK license, BLS, and at least 1 year of RN experience; strong communication and computer skills are required.

Competenze

Active OK or compact multistate RN license is required.
Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required.
Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred.
Prior Med/Surg and Step Down experience required.
Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer skills.

Mansioni

Hospital-based Med/Surg float pool position on the 3rd Floor Overflow unit.
Cares for a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex.
May be floated to any area of the hospital.
Days shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly.
Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients and documents responses to nursing interventions.
Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
Administers medications and monitors IV infusions and blood products.
Communicates care plans with patients and families, including discharge information.
Delegates tasks to support staff as needed.
Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
Credentialing and compliance deadlines are strictly enforced with no start date flexibility.
