Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg unit in Iowa. Requires at least one year of RN experience and active IA license or Compact license.

The 13-week assignment is on the night shift (19:00–07:30) with every third weekend and Christmas coverage. Travel housing and licensure reimbursements are provided; COVID vaccination documentation is required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Active RN license IA or Compact
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience

Responsibilities

• Work in the 2 General Med Surg unit
• 13-week assignment on night shift, 19:00-07:30
• Every third weekend (ETW) shift rotation required
• Holiday coverage required for Christmas
• Provide direct patient care on a general medical-surgical unit
• Local candidates accepted depending on state-specific rate rules
• Radius rule of 60 miles applies for consideration unless local rate eligibility applies
• COVID vaccination documentation required for consideration
