American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift on a 13-week contract in Massachusetts. Requires an active MA RN license and AHA BLS/ACLS certifications. State-specific license verification will be conducted promptly.

The role is in a hospital Med/Surg unit (North 3) with night hours and potential light floating for basic tasks. Epic charting is used, and the nurse reports to the Nurse Manager/Director, adhering to organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license required; no pending/conditional licenses accepted.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
• Current AHA ACLS certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Primary source license verification within 30 days via NURSYS and BON.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg unit (North 3) within a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30.
• 13-week contract assignment.
• May float to basic tasks (vital signs, IV placement, phones) without full patient assignment.
• Uses Epic for charting.
• Deliver patient care through the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Collaborate with disciplines to coordinate care and outcomes.
• Reports to Nurse Manager/Director; follow policies.
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions.
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at a reduced rate.
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration.
• Timekeeping managed through UKG/Kronos.
