Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift in an acute rehab unit within an acute care hospital. The position requires Cerner EMR experience and CPI/Prevention First certification.

This 13-week travel contract offers 36 guaranteed hours per week. Requirements include an active TX or compact RN license, BLS, CPI and Prevention First certifications, at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience, and the ability to reside within 50 miles of the facility.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• CPI and Prevention First certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year Med/Surg RN experience.
• Cerner EMR experience listed in employment history.
• Driver's license required for consideration.
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Acute Rehab unit within an acute care hospital setting.
• Night shift, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
• 13-week standard contract with 36 guaranteed weekly hours.
• Must be open to work any day of the week; self-scheduling not available.
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
• RTO requests should be kept to less than 7 days.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
• Returning employees or travelers must disclose prior employment with the health system.
• Change of agency or right-to-represent submissions are not permitted.
