Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a critical access hospital in Missouri. Must hold MO or compact RN license with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications, plus a minimum of 3 years of RN experience in Med/Surg.

Telemetry skills are preferred and Step-down experience is a plus. The role involves a 25-bed unit, care for observation to skilled/swing bed patients, night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), and weekend rotations every 3rd weekend.

Qualifications

• Active MO or compact RN license required.
• Current ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications.
• Minimum 3 years RN experience in Med/Surg preferred.
• Basic Med/Surg skills required.
• Telemetry skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in a 25-bed critical access hospital Med/Surg unit.
• Observe, acute care and skilled/swing bed patients.
• Night shift schedule 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, 3x12 hours.
• Weekend rotation every 3rd weekend.
• Utilize Meditech EMR and float to other units as needed.
• Provide nursing care across observation, acute and swing bed patients.

Responsibilities

• 25-bed critical access hospital setting on a Medical Surgical unit
• Cares for observation, acute, and skilled/swing bed patients

• Uses Meditech EMR
• Floating to other units may be required
• Provides nursing care across a mix of observation, acute, and skilled/swing bed patients
• Any scrub color accepted
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
