Requirements

• Active CA RN license required

• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Minimum of two years of recent experience in Med/Surg specialty required
• No prior adverse licensure actions permitted

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg Acute unit setting in an acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Epic EMR experience required
• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care plans
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team to provide safe, healing, and humane care
• Participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care
• Provide patient and family education on health informationCandidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates with no radius restriction
