American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Medical/Surgical RN for a night shift contract position in Kansas. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of recent acute care Med/Surg experience and an active KS or compact RN license with current BLS.

The role is a 13-week contract on a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), 36 hours per week, with weekend requirements and floating as needed. A generous housing allowance and travel/licensure reimbursements are offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent acute care Med/Surg RN experience
• Active KS or compact RN license
• BLS certification
• Step-down experience preferred
• New graduates will not be considered

Responsibilities

• Medical/Surgical unit setting within a hospital
• 13-week contract assignment
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week with no set schedule
• Weekend requirements based on unit needs
• Floating required as needed
• Holiday coverage expected to help as needed
• HR orientation held Monday during the day, with unit orientation varying by unit
