Responsibilities

• Float Pool position within a hospital setting
• May float to Medical Surgical, Surgical, Medical Oncology, Inpatient Rehab, Cardiac, or Neuro Trauma Spine units
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 1900-0730
• Weekend shifts required
• Flexibility to switch to day shift may be required
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic EMR
• Perform nursing assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
• Provide health teaching and counseling to support patient recovery
• Document care per hospital and regulatory guidelines
• May float to other departments within competency
• Permanent staff separated from Intermountain facility for at least one year before travel

• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• May float to other departments within scope of competency based on business need
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
