American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedics/Neuro unit with 1 year of experience and an IN compact license. The 16-bed unit operates with a 1:6-8 patient ratio and a day shift from 06:45 to 19:15. The assignment lasts 13 weeks and offers travel-based pay with eligibility adjustments for local candidates.

Candidate must have a current IN license or compact, BLS, and pass primary source verification via Nursys within 30 days. US SSN and home address are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (IN or compact) currently in hand.
• BLS certification from AHA required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
• Current license and primary source verification via Nursys within 30 days prior to start.
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg unit specializing in orthopedic and neurological patients.
• 16-bed unit with 1:6-8 patient ratio.
• Day shift schedule from 06:45-19:15.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Provide direct patient care to orthopedic and neurological Med/Surg patients.
• Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates.
• Local candidates accepted at a potentially reduced rate depending on distance from facility.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Only one submission allowed per candidate across the health system's positions.
