Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse for an Acute Neuro Unit assignment in Georgia. The role requires NIH Stroke Scale and current AHA BLS certification, with RN license either GA state or compact. Travel experience preferred.

The position features 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM), with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and no on-call requirements. A generous housing allowance and travel reimbursements are provided to eligible travelers.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (GA state license or compact).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty required.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
• AHA ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acute Neuro Unit (612F) Med/Surg setting.
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM.
• 3 shifts per week for 36 guaranteed hours.
• No on-call requirements.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays and 1 minor holiday.
• Former permanent staff must have a 2-year break in service before returning as a traveler.
• RTO must be requested prior to offer.
