Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift Progressive Care Stepdown/Transitional unit position requiring a PA or compact RN license. The role is a 13-week assignment with a 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM schedule and direct patient care responsibilities in Med/Surg and stepdown transitional units.

Active RN license in PA or compact, AHA certifications, and prior Med/Surg or PCU experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• AHA certifications required.
• Prior Med/Surg or Progressive Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Med/Surg and stepdown PCU within a hospital.
• Work a 13-week assignment on a night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM).
• Care for Med/Surg and transitional patients on Progressive Care Stepdown.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and patient safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Progressive Care Stepdown/Transitional unit within a hospital setting
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg and stepdown transitional patients
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility
• Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
