American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an RN for a Transplant Clinic in North Carolina. The role requires NC or Compact RN licensure and at least one year of ambulatory nursing experience, with BSN/MSN preferred.

The position features a day shift, no weekends or on-call, and includes infusion services on the 4th floor along with patient education and discharge planning responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience in an ambulatory setting required.
• Nursing diploma/ADN/ASN from an accredited nursing school required; BSN or MSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Transplant Clinic on the 4th floor, covering heart, lung, kidney, liver, and pancreas patients.
• Includes infusion services on the 4th floor.
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
• No weekends, holidays, on-call, or overtime required.
• Duties include medication administration, vaccines, triage, and infusion care.
• Deliver patient care using the nursing process in an outpatient transplant clinic setting.
• Perform bedside point-of-care testing as part of the patient care plan.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate and evaluate patient care.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education.
• Engage in performance improvement activities and utilize multidisciplinary resources.
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position.
