American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Clinic. The role requires 2 years of clinic experience and MT or compact RN licensure, with BLS certification currently in place.

The RN will work in an outpatient setting with a 9-bed unit, handling ~20 patient visits and 40–60 allergy injections per day. Cerner ambulatory EMR is used; orientation includes NEO and unit-specific training. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic care for allergy, asthma and immunology.

• Treat pediatric to geriatric patients with various allergies and immunology conditions.
• Use Cerner ambulatory EMR for documentation.
• Room patients, administer injections, manage reactions, and reconcile medications.
• Support from MAs, other RNs, front desk, 2 MDs, and Clinical Coordinator; on-site Education Team available.

Job description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Clinic requiring 2 years of clinic experience and MT or compact RN licensure.

Requirements

• Active RN license (MT state or compact) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of clinic experience required
• Skills in in-basket management, skin testing, injections, reaction management, rooming, PFTs, medication reconciliation, and medication refills
• Training provided for skin testing or PFTs if candidate lacks prior experience

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic setting specializing in allergy, asthma, and immunology care
• 9-bed unit averaging 20 clinic visits and 40-60 allergy injections per day
• Patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric with diagnoses including seasonal, environmental, drug, and food allergies, asthma, hives, and immunology conditions
• Uses Cerner ambulatory EMR
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM shifts
• No weekend rotation, on-call, or holiday requirements
• No floating required
• Daily responsibilities include patient rooming, skin testing, administering injections, managing allergic reactions, and medication reconciliation
• Supported by MAs, other clinic RNs, front desk staff, 2 MDs, an on-site Clinical Coordinator, and a Director available by phone
• On-site lab and Education Team available for support
• Orientation includes NEO followed by the remainder of the first week for unit-specific training
• Scrub requirement: any solid professional color, no graphics or logos
