Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Long Term Care to join HealthForce Healthcare in Dubuque, IA. You will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care / skilled nursing facility and support chronic disease management.

Qualifications

Education: ADN or BSN from an accredited program.
Licensure: Active RN license in Iowa or Compact/NLC.
Certification: BLS required.
Experience: LTC/SNF experience required.
Proficiency with EHR/EMR systems and care coordination tools.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive physical assessments and monitor residents for changes.
Administer medications and manage IV therapy per orders and protocols.
Provide wound care and skin integrity management, including pressure ulcer prevention.
Document care, treatments, and responses in the EHR/EMR.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to tailor care plans.
Educate residents and families on disease management and safety.
