Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for a long-term care travel assignment in Dubuque, Iowa. The role centers on bedside nursing, routine assessments, medications per physician orders, and interdisciplinary rounds. Guaranteed 36 hours weekly with a day shift (6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.).

Weekly pay ranges from $1,614 to $1,647. Requires an active Iowa RN license (or eligibility) and BLS; 1 year LTC/ skilled nursing experience preferred; background check and TB screening required;

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa (or eligibility)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Ability to work the day shift (6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.) in a fast-paced LTC setting
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to pass background check and TB screening

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including routine assessments and monitoring
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; document changes and responses accurately
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans; participate in rounds and family communications
• Perform nursing procedures, manage wound care, and support activities of daily living as appropriate
• Uphold patient safety through falls prevention, infection control, and compliance with facility policies
• Maintain thorough, compliant charting in the electronic health record and communicate changes promptly to the care team
