Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position on a Labor-Delivery-Recovery-Postpartum unit. The role requires fetal monitoring certification and NRP, with 36 hours per week on Nights, 3x12s, across a full-time schedule.

Expected patient ratios and procedures include C-sections, inductions, and complex OB cases. Candidates must hold an RN license (TN or compact) and have 2+ years of L&D experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (TN or compact) required.
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required.
• BLS, NRP (Advanced 9th Edition), and Fetal Monitoring certification required.
• Experience laboring and recovering mothers and newborns including assessment.
• Experience with inductions (Pitocin, Cervidil) required.
• Experience with OB emergencies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for patient rounding and safety checks on the unit.
• Perform labor, delivery, and post‑partum care per protocol.
• Document in Meditech and CPN systems.
• Monitor fetal status and neonatal outcomes during shifts.
