American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery on a night shift, requiring 2 years of experience and SC or compact RN licensure. You will work in a hospital setting with a 3x12 hour schedule (19:00-07:00) and a 1:2 patient ratio, delivering maternal obstetric, well newborn, and postpartum care.

This traveler role includes antepartum triage nursing, L&D care, and serving as OR circulator for cesarean sections.

Qualifications

• Active SC or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required.
• Current certifications: BLS, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM, and NRP required.
• ACLS preferred.
• Meditech charting experience preferred but not required.
• Community hospital experience preferred.
• Previous charge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-7:00.
• Maintain a 1:2 patient ratio and provide maternal obstetric, well newborn, and postpartum care.
• Manage antepartum triage nursing and labor and delivery care.
• Serve as OR circulator for Cesarean sections and provide respiratory support and resuscitation.
• Attend high-risk and premature deliveries; floating across hospital in rotation.
• Expect to work some holidays and weekends in rotation with staff.
