Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery role in South Carolina. You will manage admissions, discharges, and transfers on the L&D unit, including vaginal and C-section deliveries, with 3 years of L&D experience and AWHONN fetal monitoring certification.

The position requires active SCRN license, BSN is desirable, and certifications such as BLS/ACLS/NRP/CPI are required. Night shifts (3x12 hours) are typical for this assignment.

Qualifications

• Active SC or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 3 years of L&D experience.
• AWHONN intermediate electronic fetal monitoring certification.
• BSN desirable.
• Graduate of accredited RN program.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NRP.

Responsibilities

• Manage admissions, discharges, transfers on L&D unit.
• Handle pre-op, vaginal and C-section deliveries.
• Perform scheduled procedures including C-sections.
• Use fetal monitors for patient monitoring.
• Chart in Cerner and Fetalink systems.
