American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Washington. WA State or Compact RN license required along with BLS, NRP, and FHM certifications.

The role operates on a night shift (3x12s, 36 hours per week) with no on-call responsibilities, and may involve floating as a sitter. Responsibilities

• Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule: 3x12s, 36 hrs/week, 1845-0645.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Must float as a sitter and may float in rotation.
• Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care using the nursing process and unit-specific standards.
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments.
• Document assessments, care plans, interventions, and patient responses accurately.
• Perform ongoing holistic patient assessments and respond appropriately.
• Provide patient and family education on relevant health information.
• Delegate and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel.
• Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff per hospital policy.
