Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-risk Labor and Delivery unit in New York, requiring NY RN licensure and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification.

The role demands active NY RN license, NRP, NCC C-EFM within one year, and 3+ years in L&D with at least 2 years high-risk OB; night shifts 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, with weekend potential. Local candidates within 60 miles may receive a reduced rate.

Qualifications

• Active NY State RN license required.
• NRP certification required.
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required.
• NCC C-EFM certification required within one year of first assignment.
• Minimum 3 years of current labor and delivery experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of high-risk OB experience required, or OR circulating, c-section, and PACU/recovery room experience.
• OB triage experience preferred.
• Two professional references from previous managers in current discipline/specialty required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-risk labor and delivery environment.
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30, alternating days of the week.
• May require weekend shifts based on unit staffing needs.
• Candidates residing within 60 miles may be considered local at a reduced rate.
• Review process required for any candidate with prior work history at this health system.
