Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift assignment in Ohio, requiring 18 months of recent L&D experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license. Responsibilities include labor/induction, OB-OR circulating, and antepartum care on a hospital unit.

You'll work 3x12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with EPIC Stork charting experience preferred. Vaccines, references, and certifications (ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE) are required, along with a manager reference from the past year.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand.
• Minimum 18 months permanent Labor & Delivery experience.
• Recent L&D experience within last 3 years preferred.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE certifications.
• One reference from a manager/supervisor in L&D within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines with medical/religious exemptions only.
• EPIC Stork charting experience preferred but not required.
• Night shift availability; 3×12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM.
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate.
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday.
• Permanent employees cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery unit duties within a hospital nursing department.
• Assignments may include labor/induction patients, OB-OR circulating, and antepartum care.
• Night shift schedule of 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a 3x12-hour rotation.
• Provide nursing care across labor/induction, OB-OR circulating, and antepartum areas.
• Orientation includes ECG rhythm recognition test and Safe Medicate assessment.
• Local travelers welcome at the stated rate.

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Labor and Delivery experience in home unit, preferably within the last 3 years
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the Labor and Delivery specialty from within the past 12 months required
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only

Responsibilities
