American Traveler is hiring a Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift hospital role in Ohio. The position requires an active OH or compact RN license, BLS/ACLS/NRP, fetal monitoring certification, and at least 12 months of permanent L&D experience.

A manager-level reference dated within the last year is also required. This traveler-oriented role includes night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), potential holiday coverage, and vaccination requirements.

Qualifications

• Active OH RN license or compact license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Basic Fetal Monitoring certification required.
• Minimum of 12 months permanent Labor and Delivery experience required.
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, dated within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Labor and Delivery/Antepartum unit.
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:30 AM).
• Provides high-risk antepartum care for pregnant patients needing closer monitoring.
• Provides specialized antepartum monitoring and care for high-risk pregnancies.
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, with exemptions only.
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate.
• Permanent employees may not return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date.

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact state RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Basic Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Minimum of 12 months permanent Labor and Delivery experience required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required, dated within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Labor and Delivery/Antepartum unit
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:30 AM)
• Provides high-risk antepartum care for pregnant patients requiring closer monitoring, including preeclampsia, preterm labor, vaginal bleeding, placental issues, and multiple gestations
• Provides specialized antepartum monitoring and care for high-risk pregnancies
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent employees may not return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
