Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced registered nurse for a Labor & Delivery assignment in Massachusetts. The role requires an active MA license and at least 2 years of L&D experience, with Epic EMR experience preferred and travel experience a plus.

The position features 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, no floating duties, and a generous housing allowance. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility and have a 6-month break from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Travel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Obstetrics Delivery unit of a high-volume maternity hospital supporting approximately 2,600 births annually
• 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, every other weekend, 36 hours per week
• No floating or charge responsibilities required
• Support a facility known for evidence-based, patient-centered maternity care with a lower than average c-section rate
• Must complete Tele/ECG and medication competency testing
• Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility and local candidates will not be considered
• Candidates must have a 6-month break from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility before returning in any capacity
