American Traveler, LLC is seeking a dual IR/Cath Lab RN for a 13-week day-shift assignment at a Magnet, Level I teaching trauma hospital in Seattle, WA. Requires 2+ years of ED or ICU experience and WA license.

This role involves floating within IR and Cath Lab, on-call duties, and EPIC charting; travel-friendly hospital with 500 staffed beds. BLS/ACLS, vaccination, and EKG exam are required.

Qualifications

• Active WA RN license or compact license required
• Minimum 2 years of ED or ICU experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Compliance EKG exam required
• Epic charting experience required
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Level I and Level II trauma experience preferred
• COVID vaccination and booster required with no exceptions

Responsibilities

• Dual role covering Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab procedures
• Day shift, 3x12 hours, 0700-1930
• On-call, holiday, and weekend requirements apply
• Weekend requirement approximately every 3rd weekend
• Responds to urgent IR needs (Code Stroke, STEMI, Trauma)
• Recovers patients from sedation/anesthesia
• Floating within IR and Cath Lab
• Uses Epic charting system
• Work at Magnet-designated teaching hospital with 500 staffed beds
• First-time travelers accepted if all requirements are met

American Traveler is hiring a dual IR/Cath Lab RN for a 13-week day-shift assignment at a Magnet, Level I teaching trauma hospital, requiring 2+ years of ED or ICU experience.

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or compact license required
• Minimum 2 years of ED or ICU experience required (hard stop)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Compliance EKG exam required
• NIHSS and PALS certifications preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Level I and Level II trauma experience preferred
• Proficiency in sheath removal/monitoring, vascular closure systems, and hemostasis techniques required
• Experience with procedural sedation monitoring, ACT, and dysrhythmia interpretation/management required
• Experience with IV therapy, central line and PICC care, and blood product administration required
• Experience with angioplasty, embolization, and various IR/Cath Lab procedures required as listed in clinical skill set

Responsibilities

• Weekend requirement approximately every 3rd weekend, subject to change based on vacation coverage
• Responds to urgent/emergent IR procedural needs such as Code Stroke, STEMI, Trauma, and IR Body cases
• Recovers patients from sedation/anesthesia
• Floating required within scope to both IR and Cath Lab
• Uses Epic charting system (hard requirement)
• Work within a Magnet-designated, teaching, Level I trauma hospital with 500 staffed beds
• Scrubs may be any solid color; unit-provided light blue scrubs also available
• First-time travelers accepted if all requirements are met
• Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction
• Minimal RTO accommodated; no time off allowed during first 2 weeks of assignment
• Prior facility staff must have 18 months of separation before returning as a traveler
• COVID vaccination and booster required with no exceptions
